Hundreds of people on a pilgrimage to see a forest? Yes.

A bit disappointing as it was neither as big as expected, nor was there anything to do except gaze at bamboo trees and people taking crappy selfies with bamboo trees. Also these groves are literally scattered around the country and you may find one where there are exactly zero people pretending to be fascinated by trees.
